Díli, March 7^th, 2025 - The Executive Director of TIC TIMOR I.P., Mr. Venâncio Pinto, and the team held a preliminary meeting with the President Commissioner of Remala Abadi Company, Mr. Richard Kartawijaya, and the team, at the TIC TIMOR building.

The objective of this meeting is to address the interest of Remala Abadi Company in obtaining more information regarding the role of the TIC TIMOR Agency, particularly concerning the services that TIC TIMOR provides to institutions, and thus, there may have the possibility for Remala Abadi Company to establish a service cooperation with TIC TIMOR.

At this meeting, the Executive Director of TIC TIMOR, Mr. Venâncio Pinto, explained that, TIC TIMOR is the sole Agency for Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Timor-Leste, established under Decree-Law N.^o 29/2017 and operating under the authority of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC).

Based on the IX Constitutional Government's program, outlined in terms number 2.8, related to Information and Communication Technology, and in term number 6.7, related to E-Government, in which the government assigns to TIC TIMOR as the imperative mission in carrying out its implementation.

Furthermore, the Executive Director also informed that TIC TIMOR has completed local connectivity in 12 municipalities, including RAEOA and Ataúru, and has also developed digital systems for state institutions.

 “The TIC TIMOR has already completed the implementation of local connectivity in 12 municipalities, including RAEOA and Ataúru, to ensure access to government systems such as the Sistema Dalan ba Futuru, Freebalance, Official Email, and other systems utilized by the Government," said the Executive Director

The leader of TIC TIMOR also emphasized that TIC TIMOR has also developed several digital systems and platforms, such as the Online Scheduling System, the Official Portal for Institutions, the Income, Platform for Declaring Income on Assets and Interests (DRBI) in Timor-Leste, as well as other systems developed internally (In-House Development).

On the same occasion, the team from Remala Abadi Company also presented services they offer. Additionally, the two teams held several technical discussions on how to establish a mutually benefit service collaboration in the future.

This meeting also participated by the Director of DDSIA, Mr. Justo Fernandes, the Director of DSIR, Mr. Henrique Fulgêncio Guterres, the Director of DC, Mr. Rusmin Vicente Soares, and the team from Remala Abadi Company.
