The Role of the Information and Communication Technology Agency, TIC TIMOR I.P. is to centralize and secure government IT systems in Government data centers through the TIC TIMOR network. For this reason, TIC TIMOR through the Application System Division (DSA) in carrying out its duties and responsibilities ensures Electronic Government as a means of bringing the Government closer to the community through Electronic Government.
The Director of Administration and Finance of the TIC TIMOR I.P. Maria da Forsa H. Marques, informed that, this year, TIC TIMOR I.P. independently manages its budget. The team from the Administration and Finance Division (DAF) in coordination with other teams managed to dedicate themselves hard to the execution of this service although they were in the pandemic situation of COVID-19, DAF in partnership with the aforementioned teams, would reach the execution with 84.10 %
Information and Communication Technologies Agency (TIC) TIMOR I.P, signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Water and Sanitation Authority (ANAS) I.P. regarding cooperation in the information technology area.
The purpose of signing the above memorandum of understanding is to support the IT services that are required by ANAS. After the meeting, both institutions specifically addressed the identification of the support required by ANAS I.P. immediately taking into account the request presented to TIC TIMOR.
The technicians of the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICT) TIMOR I.P., through the Application System Development Division and the Infrastructure Division, they conducted training in administrative management regarding the Website and email system , which is already developed by TIC TIMOR at the Polytechnic Institute of Betano (IPB) Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão.
The objective of the training on the agenda is to raise the knowledge of IPB technicians so that they can manage their respective website and email system .
