THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF TIC TIMOR I.P PRESENTS OGE 2020 PROPOSAL TO THE POLITICAL BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE

The Executive Director of TIC TIMOR I.P. (Information and Communication Technology Agency), Roberto Caitano de Sousa Vicente, accompanied by the Director of Administration and Finance, Maria Da Frosa Marques, presented TIC TIMOR’s General State Budget (OGE) 2020 proposal to the Political Budget Review Committee (CRO-P), led by Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak at the Ministry of Finance Building in Aitarak Laran.

The Chief Executive said that the proposal focuses on the priorities that the Agency will implement next year and the need to raise the total additional budget to $ 4,371,756. 20. The budget will be used to finance TIC’s priority programs in 2020. One of the programs is the continuation of the provision of infrastructure for internet connectivity for the line ministries and public institutions in the municipalities to support services such as building of the Ministry of Health (MS), Timor-Leste National Police (PNTL), Ministry of Education (ME), and customs.

The additional budget has been requested to provide facilities necessary for improving public services. # Média TIC#
